Centering a pear-shaped diamond weighing 7.15 carats, the split shank millegrain-set with old European and single-cut diamonds, size 5; circa 1920.

Condition

In good condition, the shank with surface scratches commensurate with age and wear. The accenting diamonds, estimated to weigh a total of approximately 0.40 carats, are near-colorless, bright and lively. Accompanied by GIA report no. 1196043620 stating that the 7.15 carat diamond is G color, VVS2 clarity. Together with the original working diagram stating that the diamond may be potentially Internally Flawless. Also with a letter from the GIA stating that the diamond has been determined to be Type IIa. Please note the shank is slightly ovoid from years of being worn; while registering as a size 5 on a mandrel, it accommodates an approximately size 5 3/4 finger.
