Set with an oval sapphire weighing 10.47 carats, within a frame of brilliant-cut diamonds, the shoulders set with similarly cut diamonds, size 51, signed Van Cleef & Arpels, numbered, French assay mark for gold and maker's mark.

Condition

Accompanied by SSEF report no. 97221, stating that the oval sapphire weighing 10.47 carats, measuring 12.51 x 9.93 x 7.83mm, is of Malagasy origin, with no indications of heating. Signed VAN CLEEF & ARPELS, numbered 25182, French maker's mark, French assay mark and stamped 750 for 18 carat gold. Sapphire of strong saturation, with typical inclusions visible under 10x magnification, some surface reaching, minor abrasions and nicks. For more information on the sapphire, please refer to the SSEF report. Diamonds bright and lively. Scratches to the metal consistent with normal wear. In very good condition. Gross weight approximately 7 grams.
