Description

  • Rubies, diamonds, platinum
Of open work design, set with a cushion- and two pear-shaped rubies weighing 2.81, 2.15 and 2.10 carats respectively, embellished with circular-, square-, single-cut and baguette diamonds, partial French assay mark for platinum.

Condition

Accompanied by SSEF report no. 88411, stating that the rubies measuring 10.38 x 8.87 x 3.30mm, 9.57 x 6.83 x 4.13mm and 9.36 x 6.82 x 4.14mm, and weighing 2.81, 2.15 and 2.10 carats, respectively, are of Burmese origin, with no indications of heating. Partial French assay mark for platinum. Rubies of medium strong saturation, with typical surface-reaching inclusions, cavities, chips and abrasions. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 10.00 - 11.00 carats, on average H-J colour, SI-I, included clarity, as gauged and graded in the mount. Evidence of wear to the metal consistent with use. Clasp secure, safety catch. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 33 grams.
