Each suspending an oval ruby weighing approximately 8.05 carats in total, within a surround of pear-shaped diamonds, to the brilliant-cut diamond-set hook, linked by a marquise-shaped diamond, hook fittings.
Condition
Please note that the US dollars estimates should read US$896,000 - 1,280,000 and not US$896,000 - 1,152,000 as stated in the printed catalogue. Accompanied by Gübelin report no. 18081002 /1 and 2, dated 16 August 2018, stating that the rubies are of Burmese origin, with no indications of heating. Gübelin further stating that the tradecolour of the rubies are pigeon blood red. Also accompanied by a SSEF report. Please refer to reports for further details. Metal tested as white and yellow gold. Rubies are medium dark red in strong saturation. Under 10x magnification, there are typical inclusions, some surface reaching, minor inclusions and blemishes, but all hardly noticeable with unaided eye. Diamonds estimated to weigh approximately 15 - 16cts in total are on average E - F Colour, VS Clarity as gauged and graded in the mount. Minor signs of wear on metal, overall in excellent condition.
