Description
- Jadeite, Diamond, Garnet, Topaz, Pearl, Amethyst, Gold, sapphire
- Jadeite approximately 45.78 x 16.18 x 8.69mm.
Designed as a seahorse, set with a carved jadeite of bright green colour and very good translucency, enhanced by a cabochon sapphire eye, decorated with brilliant-cut diamonds and circular-cut green garnet, amethyst and topaz, the dorsal fin set with cultured pearls, mounted in 18 karat blackened gold.
Condition
Accompanied by Hong Kong Jade & Stone Laboratory certificate numbered SJ 164571, dated 6 February 2018 stating that the jadeite is natural, known in the trade as "A Jade". Please refer to the certificate for further details. Mounted in blackened gold as tested. Jadeite of very good translucency, suffused with bright green streaks to the light green background. Upon strong illumination, there are some dark specks and internal fissures with some surface reaching, a few minor chips and nicks, but all are hardly noticeable when worn. Cultured pearls are round to off round and white body colour, well-matched and very good lustre. The coloured gemstones estimated to weigh approximately 2.30 to 2.50 carats in total, some eye clean, majority with minor typical inclusions; sapphire of deep blue colour, with some nicks on surface; green garnets of yellowish green colour and medium saturation; topaz of light blue colour and light saturation; and amethysts of purple colour and medium saturation. Diamonds are bright and lively, estimated to weigh approximately 2.20 to 2.50 carats in total, as gauged in the mounting. Metal shows no sign of wear, overall in very good condition.
