Set with five step-cut sapphires, the central sapphire colour changing, spaced by marquise-shaped diamonds to the baguette diamond band, mounted in platinum and gold, length approximately 160mm, signed Cusi, Italian assay and maker's marks.
Condition
Accompanied by SSEF report numbered 90912, dated 14 March 2017, stating that the four sapphires and a colour change sapphire are of Ceylon origin, with no indications of heating. Please refer to report for further details. Stamped PT900 and OR for platinum and white gold mounting. Signed Cusi, with Italian assay and maker's mark. CC sapphire estimated to weigh approximately 9.3cts, exhibits violetish blue colour in the daylight and purple colour of medium saturation, under the incandescent light, with typical inclusions and minor abrasion visible only under 10x magnification. Sapphires estimated to weigh approximately 18 - 22cts in total, are medium blue of medium saturation, with typical inclusions, some surface reaching, minor chips and abrasion, but hardly noticeable with unaided eyes. Diamonds estimated to weigh approximately 7-10cts are on average F - G colour, mainly VS clarity, as gauged and graded in the mount. Signs of normal wear to metal consistent with use, overall in very good condition. Please note that Sotheby's is not responsible for accuracy of estimated weight given by gemmological report.
