- Cabochon on ring approximately 20.57 x 17.40 x 10.73mm; two largest cabochons on earrings approximately 19.35 x 7.17 x 2.55mm and 18.96 x 7.18 x 2.56mm.
The ring set with a translucent oval jadeite cabochon of green colour, surrounded by brilliant-cut diamonds, accented by foliate motifs set with variously shaped rose diamonds, mounted in 18 karat white gold, size 6; and a pair of pendent earrings, each suspending a highly translucent jadeite cabochon of bright green colour within a frame of tapered baguette diamonds, from a jadeite cabochon of similar material, framed and decorated with brilliant-cut and marquise-shaped diamonds, post and butterfly fittings.
Condition
Accompanied by Hong Kong Jade & Stone Laboratory certificates numbered SJ 163391 and SJ 163393, both dated 18 January 2018, stating that the jadeite tested are natural, known in the trade as "A Jade". Please refer to the certificates for further details. Ring: Stamped 750 for 18 karat white gold and inscribed "D". The jadeite cabochon of translucent material, with shades and some streaks of green to a lighter green background; upon strong illumination, there are some clouds but hardly noticeable under normal lighting. Pendent earrings: Mounting tested as white gold, both backings inscribed 750 for 18 karat white gold and "Dilys". Jadeite cabochons are highly translucent and of bright green colour; upon strong illumination, there are some internal fissures with a few surface reaching, and a few fine scratches, but all are not noticeable when worn, and with some white and brownish clouds. Diamonds estimated to weigh approximately 2.80- 3.20 carats in total as gauged in the mounting, are bright and lively. Both with signs of minor wear to the metal, earrings with evidence of minor adhesive substances on the prongs. Overall in very good condition.
