  • Oval cabochon approximately 12.37 x 9.25 x 4.91mm.
Designed as a ruyi, the centre set with a green oval jadeite cabochon of high translucency, to the terminals set with light honey yellow jadeite cabochons of similar material, each within a surround of circular-cut diamonds or yellow sapphires, suspending a ruby bead tassel, mounted in 18 karat yellow and blackened gold.

Condition

Accompanied by Hong Kong Jade & Stone Laboratory certificate numbered SJ 164573, dated 6 February 2018, stating that the jadeite tested is natural, known in the trade as "A Jade". Please refer to the certificate for further details. Inscribed 750 for 18 karat yellow and blackened gold, Y2.61ct and D0.65ct referring to the total weight of the yellow sapphires and diamonds respectively. Two oval jadeite cabochons of green colour and high translucency; under strong illumination, there are some clouds, some surface reaching internal fissures, a few black specks and two are surface reaching. Yellow jadeite cabochons are of light honey yellow colour and high translucency; under strong illumination, there are clouds but hardly noticeable under normal lighting, some russet specks and fine bright honey yellow veins. Rubies of purplish red colour and medium saturation, with typical inclusions and some are surface reaching, some minor abrasions and tiny chips. Sapphires are of yellow colour and light saturation, with minor inclusions. Diamonds are bright and lively. Signs of little wear to the metal, overall in very good condition.
