Description

  • Yellow Jadeite, Jadeite, Diamond, Gold
  • Cabochon on ring approximately 11.67 x 9.81 x 4.48mm; cabochons on earrings 10.40 x 9.56 x 4.96mm and 10.29 x 9.68 x 4.35mm.
Comprising: a ring, set with a highly translucent jadeite cabochon of light honey yellow colour, to the brilliant-cut diamond gallery, flanked by pear-shaped diamonds and paisley-shaped jadeite cabochons of brilliant emerald green colour and high translucency, ring size 6; and a pair of matching pendent earrings, post and butterfly fittings.  

Condition

Accompanied by two Hong Kong Jade & Stone Laboratory certificates numbered SJ 164015 and SJ 164012, both dated 30 January 2018, stating that the jadeite tested are natural, known in the trade as "A Jade". Please refer to the certificates for further details. Ring stamped 750 for 18 karat blackened gold. Earrings mount tested as gold, with one backing stamped 750 for 18 karat blackened gold. Jadeite cabochons of light honey yellow colour and high translucency, with some bright honey shades and fine veins; upon strong illumination, there are clouds and a few internal fissures but hardly noticeable under normal lighting. Paisley-shaped jadeite of brilliant emerald green colour and high translucency; under strong illumination, there are some tiny dark specks and clouds, a few surface reaching internal fissures, but not visible under normal lighting. Diamonds estimated to weigh approximately 0.50ct in total are bright and lively, as gauged in the mounting. Signs of minor wear to the metal, with evidence of adhesive substances on the prongs. Overall in very good condition.
