Silver print. Signed, dated and annotated 'Cotton Valley series', 'printed March 83' in pencil in the lower margin (unframed)
Condition
This silver print on Agfa paper is in overall good condition. With three very small retouching marks and a light handling mark in the upper right quadrant (only visible in raking light), and rubbed edges and corners. With some indentations and wear to paper along the edges in the margin of the print, away from the image. With the annotation '21767-DAV' in pencil in an unknown hand at the bottom right edge of the verso, most probably a gallery stock number. Overall, this is a lovely work with the aforementioned minor flaws as expected for a vintage print from this 1983.
