Condition

The structure of the sculpture appears stable and all elements appear secure. The sculpture is composed of the feathered vertical element and an integral base. The vertical section of the sculpture has been attached to the base with screws and secured with glue. There is some excess varnish to some of the tips of some of the ridged elements. In a small number of places there is an excess of adhesive joining the ridged elements, which has become exposed in the joints. There are a small number of very faint scratches, nicks and imperfections to the varnished surface, only visible upon close inspection. Subject to the above, the work appears to be in excellent overall condition. Please telephone the department on +44 (0) 207 293 6424 if you have any further questions regarding the present lot.
