Condition
The canvas appears to be original and is slightly loose on the stretcher and undulates slightly. There is a tiny fleck of loss to the left edge, just above centre. There is surface dirt and studio matter throughout. Subject to the above, the work appears to be in very good overall condition. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals a layer of discoloured varnish. The work is presented in a painted wooden frame.
