Condition
The work is composed of two separate panels which are joined in the middle. The panels appear to be sound and stable, however the joint between the two panels is slightly raised. There are a number of small chips and losses to the panels at all four edges, this is most noticeable at the left edge. There is some very light light cracking along the grain of the wood throughout, largely only visible upon close inspection. There is one small push towards the upper right corner. There are a small number of losses to the paint and to impasto tips along the line of the central piece of trellis. Subject to the above the work appears to be in very good overall condition. The work is float mounted within a simple wooden frame. Please telephone the department on +44 (0) 207 294 6424 if you have any further questions regarding the present lot.
