Waddington Galleries, London, where acquired by the family of the present owner, circa the late 1960s, and thence by descent

Condition

The sculpture appears to be sound. There are casting imperfections with cracking to the ankles with a small number of more minor casting imperfections elsewhere. There are also some small pits to the surface. There is some evidence of casting residue in some of the pits and crevices. There are two metal dowel pins missing from the proper left side of the base. This excepting the work appears to be in excellent overall condition. The work has an integral bronze base.
