all with general signs of wear: engravings rubbed, surface scratches, some bent tines, etc.; some spoons with shallow dents to bowls: 4 tablespoons, 4 teaspoons, and approx. three quarter of the dessert spoons; most dinner and lunch knives with dents to tips of handles, all with later blades with excess sloppy solder at joins, 3 of the dinner and 1 of the lunch knives with blades slightly separating from handles; the carvers with dents to tips of handles and the 4 knife blades slightly separating from handles; case with general wear and soiling to fabric, cover lacking interior chain on one side, and gaps for 3 serving pieces, also no slots for the fish knives and forks or butter spreaders
