Comprising: a necklace designed as a silk cord suspending rows of collet-set kunzite, smoky quartz, topaz, tourmaline, amethyst, aquamarine, garnet, opal and citrine, length approximately 460mm; and a pair of earrings, one suspending a collet-set amethyst, opal and tourmaline, and the other suspending two citrines and an amethyst from a textured surmount, clip fittings, length approximately 82mm, each with maker's mark.
Condition
Necklace: clasp stamped with maker's mark for H. Stern and 750 for 18 carat gold. Stones generally appear clean to the naked eye, although some with visible typical inclusions such as the heart shaped amethyst and some with typical inclusions visible under magnification such as the garnet. Some stones with areas of abrasion to facet edges and light scratches to metal commensurate with normal wear. Opal is translucent with white body colour and green and orange play of colour. Silk cord in good condition, some evidence of glue around the edge of the clasp. Clasp closes securely with additional safety catch. Length of the centre line of stones approximately 110mm. Gross weight approximately 92 grams. In good condition.
Earrings: reverse of clips each stamped with maker's mark for H. Stern and 750 for 18 carat gold. Stones appear clean to the naked eye, with the exception of the darker citrine which has typical inclusions and some light colour zoning. Some small chips to facet edges and light scratches to metal consistent with wear but overall in good condition. Clips with good tension. Gross weight approximately 23 grams.
