Condition

The board appear sound (some damage to the reverse but this has not affected the front). There are three small abrasions to the bow of the left hand boat, and one or two elsewhere but the surface has been heavily worked by the artist himself. May benefit from a light clean; otherwise appears in good overall condition. Under ultraviolet light there appear to be no signs of retouching. Held in a gilt composite frame.
