Condition
The canvas is not lined and inspection under UV light reveals no signs of retouching. There are artist's pinholes in all four corners and at the centre of each edge. There are some fly spots to the surface of the canvas. There are flecks of pigment loss and shrinkage in the orange pigment of the pumpkins which would benefit from some sensitive stabilisation. There are some further small flecks of pigment loss to the chestnuts and in the blue pigment of the lower pumpkin as well as a small area of lifting to the pigment in the upper right quadrant of the work. This work is in fair overall condition.
