Condition

The canvas is unlined. Colors are bright and fresh and a rich, textured impasto is well preserved. Under UV light a few thin strokes of inpainting are visible near the top edge about six inches in from the upper left corner and a further stroke is visible slightly more towards center also near top edge. In addition there is a one-centimeter in diameter dot of retouching near lower left corner and an area of retouching at left edge just below the sky, otherwise fine. This work is in generally very good condition.
