Condition

The canvas has been wax lined. There is some light frame abrasion around the perimeter of the canvas. There is strong impasto, particularly in the foreground and the roofs of the houses. There is some fine and stable craquelure to the center of the sky and to the green pigments between the rows of houses. There is fine and stable craquelure along the vertical stertcher. Under uv light, there is some minor retouching to the area below central houses along stretcher lines. Fine scattered cosmetic retouching to the sky most notably in upper left quadrant.The work is in good condition.
