This work is in very good condition overall. The colors are vibrant, and the media layer is stable. The sheet has been hinged to the mat in each of the upper corners on the reverse with acid-free tape. Artist pinholes are present in each of the four corners. Under raking light inspection, two transparent vertical surface accretions measuring one inch each in length become apparent in the lower left quadrant, ½ inch from the edge of the sheet, in the blue area adjacent to the figure dressed in black. In the upper left quadrant, a vertical surface scratch measuring two inches in length is present in the ocean, to the left of the basket of fish. A few scattered white pinpoint spot accretions are present in the central and upper right quadrants.
