Condition

This work is in excellent overall condition. Executed on cream wove paper and not laid down. There are artist's pin holes to the lower two corners, the upper right corner and the centre of the upper edge. The sheet is gently undulating consistent with the materials used. There is a tiny loss to the tip of the upper left corner and there are some remnants of previous framing on the verso. There are a few very fine lines of stable craquelure to the more thickly applied pink pigment towards the centre and lower part of the right edge. The colours are bright and well preserved.
