Condition

The canvas is not lined. Examination under UV light reveals light reveals two spots of retouching beneath the green foliage, within the lower left quadrant, and a spot of retouching to the leftmost green stem within the vase. There are some spots of pigment loss to the extreme edges, consistent with frame abrasion, and two further flecks of loss to the purple pigment at the lower left part of the bouquet. There is some craquelure and some pigment shrinkage in places. This work is in overall good condition.
