Condition
The canvas is not lined. Examination under UV light reveals an area of retouching to the shadow on the ground towards the lower part of the composition. There is some craquelure in places with associated pigment loss, and some pigment loss to the edges, particularly to the upper and left edges. This work is in overall good condition.
