Condition
The canvas is not lined and has a wax coating on the reverse. UV light inspection reveals some small retouching towards the upper left corner, the most notable measuring 5cm. in length to the upper part of the extreme left edge and a fine line measuring 1.5cm to the right of this. There are two minor areas of paint loss to the canvas: the first measures 1cm. in a vertical line towards the centre of the left edge, and the second a small spot towards the upper right corner. There is evidence of frame abrasion to each edge, most prominently to the centre of the lower edge. This work is in overall good condition.
