Condition
The canvas is not lined. Examination under UV light appears to reveal no signs of retouching, however a small spot of adhesive visible on the reverse indicates a small spot of old restoration in the lower left quadrant, to the upper right of the signature. There are some flecks of pigment loss towards the lower right corner and a spot of loss towards the centre of the lower edge. There is some craquelure in places, not visually distracting. There is a tear to the folded overflap of the canvas at the centre of the upper edge. The colours are bright and fresh and this work is in overall very good condition.
