Condition

Structurally sound. There is some variation to the patina in keeping with the medium. There is evidence of minor age cracks to the joins in the timber some of which have been infilled, probably by the artist and commensurate with the age of the material. There is evidence of splitting to the knots, notably at the back of the figure's proper right leg and to the left calf, which have been secured in places. The tips of the fingers on the proper right hand and left breast have some minor losses. This work is in overall good condition.
