baluster-shaped, the cover with a flowering branch, engraved with armorials, one of the boxes with two compartments
Condition
In overall very good condition. Legible marks under the bases and partly legible inside the covers. Two small bumps hardly visible on the body, near the foot of one box.

The arms are those of d'Espie, Languedoc, probably for François Félix d'Espie (1708-1792), Colonel of Infantry, Knight of St. Louis, who married Catherine de Castellan in 1743, and Marie-Eugénie de Brunet de Castelpers de Panat in 1778.
