Catalogue Note

The arms are those of Courtilloles, Sarthe, most probably for François-Louis de Courtilloles (1717-1791). He built Courtilloles castle in Saint-Rigomer des Bois and took over the name in 1766. On this tray, his arms are quartering those of his mother born Hébert de la Chevallerie.
