oval section, elaborately chased in coloured golds with oval panels of birds between trophies of music on a sunray ground within scrolls and garlands, maker's mark, charge and discharge marks of Eloi Brichard, date letter X for 1761/2

Condition

The blank gold matrix is possibly a replacement. An extremely good example of this type of etui, in very good condition with only a small amount of wear.
