百達翡麗1579型號

標準1579型號配備機芯13'''，這款機芯是由著名Valjoux 23'' ebauche改裝而成。經過改裝後，百達翡麗經常將這款機芯用於各種用途和功能。130型號、530型號、1436型號、1518型號以及懷錶都搭載機芯13'''。根據原廠後補資料庫精萃，本品的機芯原本設於一枚685型號懷錶（類似685型號的例子，請見拍品編號2824），並於1991年維修期間由百達翡麗重新裝嵌，後來換上由知名錶殼工匠安德烈·溫格與愛德華·溫格（André and Edouard Wenger）於五十年代製造的錶殼。

在長達二十一年的生產期間，1579型號總共推出兩個系列，配備四種不同金屬。兩個系列的不同之處可見於錶盤設計。第一個系列具備阿拉伯和條狀數字，配以葉形或條狀指針，而第二個系列則具備阿拉伯和方形數字，但只配有葉形指針。據知，四種用於製造此款錶殼的金屬包括黃金、粉紅金、鉑金及精鋼。1579型號精鋼腕錶約於1943至1961年間生產，估計產量為21枚；但目前市場上已知僅有7枚。
