Condition

MVT: running at the time of cataloguing. Date and second time zone advancing. CASE: In very good condition. The bevels to the lugs are very easy to see. The case with light surface wear which is consistent with the age of the watch. Minor wear to the underside of the lugs where the bracelet has been removed. There are minor signs of opening to the case back. DIAL: in good condition with a very minor loss between 7 and 8 o clock. The indexes relumed during a servicing.. The hands in good condition. The watch has not been tested to determine the accuracy of its timekeeping. Catalogue Note

The present watch is considered a transitional model, made in 1966 the case does not feature crown guards and the watch is accompanied by its original Rolex guarantee. Furthermore, the watch is in extremely well preserved condition with very crisp case that still retains beautifully beveled edges. Consigned by a very important collector, this transitional GMT is a lovely example.
