Catalogue Note

From an edition limited to 100 copies, this collection represents one of the greatest archives of St.-Mémin images available."This book has become the major source of information on St.-Mémin and his work. It is equally significant as one of the earliest volumes to have all illustrations done with original photographs: each copy of the book contains a full set of handmade photographic prints" (Miles).
