Condition

The illustration of the catalogue is accurate but the blue silk is darker in reality. There are the inevitable dents, marks and scratches due to age and use. There are  chips and rubbed areas to the painting and to the gilding revealing the white gesso, the red bowl and the wood underneath. The constructions are firm and sound. The blue silk is in good overall condition.
