- Height (overall) 59.5 cm, 23 1/3 in.; height (bronze) 38 cm, (bronze) 15 in.
Condition
Very good condition overall with minor wear to the patina and surface dirt, particularly in the crevices, consistent with age and handling. Marcus Aurelius and his horse are cast separately and assembled together with a screw visible under the belly of the horse. Casting flaws are visible at some places. There are a few minor chips along the edges of the marble base, consistent with age and handling. Very decorative bronze and good size.
