Catalogue Note
A set by Limosin is in the Louvre museum (inv. no. 1248). This series was inspired by the engravings of Agostino Veneziano, also known as the Master of the Die. Limosin made two series of rectangular en grisaille painted enamel plaques with red and gold highlights, one dated 1534, the other 1543. REFERENCES BIBLIOGRAPHIQUES:
