Menahot (Meal Offerings), the second tractate in Seder kodoshim (The Order of the Sacred), deals, in thirteen chapters, with the issues surrounding the various sacrifices of grain brought in the Temple, including the ingredients of such offerings (flour, oil, wine, etc.), the manner in which they were processed and prepared, and the rules specific to certain types of offerings. Along the way, valuable information is given on the laws of the menorah, mezuzah, tefillin, and tsitsit and on the liquid and dry measures used in the Temple.
