Condition
Very good condition overall. The painted steel surface with a clear finish applied to protect the paint, which appears to be original throughout. Minor scuffing and small scratches throughout, only visible upon close inspection. Signs of minor oxidation can be seen on the upper side of the neck. Signs of loss to paint in three areas of the base (approximately ½ -inch wide each), consistent with age and use.The lampshade has been replaced in a manner that is consistent with the original and is in very good condition, with minor surface dirt which is consistent with age and gentle handling. Sotheby's does not guarantee electrical components and suggests having all wiring inspected by a licensed electrician.
