Condition
Overall in excellent condition. The table presents in person with a rich and soft iridization to the glazework. The ceramic tiles show a few small and minor surface irregularities inherent in the production. Minor shallow surface scratches on the tabletop are only visible on close inspection. One of the upper corners shows a 1-inch area of professionally executed, sensitive restoration. The adjacent corner presents with a 3/4-inch area with minor abrasion that is not visually distracting. One side of a ceramic tile shows a 1/4-inch fleck. The metal legs show some minor surface scratches, abrasions and minute losses to the finish, consistent with age and gentle use. This is a rare chance to acquire this elegant and functional design by the master ceramicist Georges Jouve.
