Condition

Overall in good condition. The original black lacquer shows some visible surface scratches and rubbing throughout (largest one measuring 4 ½ -in.). The white-painted interior presents with surface dirt, light discoloration, and is occasionally blackened, all which are consistent with use and age. The brass hardware and original sockets appear to be intact. Each of the shades and central upper ball socket moves with ease. Sotheby's does not guarantee electrical components and suggests having all wiring inspected by a licensed electrician.
