Condition

Overall in very good condition. The patinated wrought iron surfaces with minor scattered oxidation and rubbing throughout. When viewed in person, the leather exhibits a deeper and more diverse selection of tones ranging from deep black, caramel and russet brown. The leather stitching is slightly dry, though intact, with no evidence of breakage. The bases of the rear legs with minor nicks and rubbing revealing the metal below. The original leather backrest and side panels have been professionally conditioned, are rich in hue and present with scattered rubbing, cracking and wear consistent with age and use as visible in the catalogue illustration. The leather cushions are possibly replaced. These cushions are supple and present with minor fine cracking consistent with gentle use. A rare design that exemplifies the clean, modern and highly refined lines synonymous with the designer.
