Condition

Overall very good condition. The pewter surfaces with minor fine surface scratches and tarnish consistent with age and gentle handling.. Minor spotting to the clock face as visible on catalogue illustration. The abalone is superbly detailed, richly variegated and presents with a saturated spectrum of chromatic hues. The proper left section directly above the arch relief with a hairline scratch measuring approximately 1/8 of an inch. Traces of polish to the recessed areas throughout. The lower rear section of the access opening with rubbing and wear creating a shallow indentation measuring approximately 1 inch which is not visible when cover is installed. The rear cover with a hairline scratch measuring approximately ¾ of an inch, Interior rim of cover with a shallow indentation measuring 1 inch which is not visible when installed. One key is provided. Functionality of the movement is not guaranteed and it could need service at the buyer's discretion. A tower-like form with minimal yet highly detailed elements.
