Condition
Overall very good condition. The epoxy stone has been professionally cleaned and presents with a slightly warmer, natural hue to the stone compared with the Belier and Agneau models (and the catalogue illustration). The concrete is in very good condition, presenting with a few occasional irregularities in the stone or faint color variations inherent in the material. The bronze elements have been professionally waxed, to bring out the rich saturation of the patina. When compared against the catalogue illustration, the bronze is a warmer hue with inflections of chocolate brown and blue which add a nice level of complexity and dimension (which appears slightly more matte black). The bronze is in very good condition with scattered surface scratches and abrasions, particularly to the legs (as is faintly visible in the catalogue illustration). An iconic model by Lalanne, this example presents nicely alongside the other Lalanne epoxy "Moutons" from this designation (lots 103, 105, 106, 107).
