Condition
Overall good condition. The wood presents with minor scratches, dents, chips and a few scuff marks scattered throughout, concentrated particularly to the legs and the reverse of the backrest, all consistent with age and gentle use. The ebonized finish with some wear mostly concentrated to the edges. The gilding presents with wear and scattered losses, especially at the bottom of the legs, visible in the catalogue illustration. The carved flowers on the backrest present with vertical cracks and separations inherent to the wood and visible in the catalogue illustration. The seat has been reupholstered and is in very good condition overall.
