Condition

Overall very good condition. The shade with approximately three cracks dispersed throughout, all stable. The shade with light surface soiling throughout concentrated to the adjacent contours to the shade leading on the interior. The shade itself is slightly off-center, inherent in the making and visible in the catalogue illustration. The base is in very good condition. When examined under blacklight, some sections of the blue glaze flouresce. When viewed with regular light, these sections present with very slight variations in tonality. It appears that these sections are not restored but rather there is slight variation inherent in the application of the glaze. One of the arches between the feet with a small tight horizontal hairline measuring approximately 1 inch on the left side of the arch, stable. The bronze arms are in very good stable condition. A highly complementary shade and base pairing.
