Condition
Overall very good condition. The prisms are all in overall very good condition and present with a beautiful range of iridescence which is even more luminous when viewed in person compared to the printed catalogue illustration. Each prism presents with scattered minor air bubbles and particulate inclusions inherent in the making, and some extremely minor and expected fleabites along its edges consistent with age and gentle handling. One prism with a larger inclusion at the midpoint of the prism measuring approximately 1/4 inch wide. One prism with a small chip to the tip. All of the decorative ball chains interspersed between the prisms appear original. The bronze mounts present with scattered minor surface scratches and abrasions consistent with age and gentle handling, and with some scattered minor casting flaws inherent in the making and not visually detractive. Each ceiling light with a period socket. The hanging chains and ceiling canopies appear to be later replacements. A dynamic pair of prism lights that present beautifully in person.
