Description

  • 36 cm, 14 1/4  in.
the slender tapering baluster body rising from a recessed base to a narrow neck with tapering conical mouth, carved through the reddish-brown glaze to the buff-coloured body with a broad peony band, all between lotus lappets at the base and a floral scroll band at the shoulder

Condition

The meiping is in good condition with the exception of some nibbles and a 3x0.5cm., shallow chip to the edge of the foot, minor glaze firing imperfections and light glaze scratches.
