the near hemispherical vessel carved in the form of a curved lotus leaf, the rounded sides rising to a lobed rim gently curving inward on one side, decorated in low relief on the exterior with a pair of flying bats suspending a twisted rope strung with five cash coins, the translucent stone of attractive variegated tones of pale lavender-blue suffusing with vermillion-red patches and milky-white mottling

Condition

The washer is in overall good condition with tiny bruises and flakes. Small sections of the rim have possibly been lightly polished to conceal earlier nicks.
