worked with a deep rounded body supported on three cabriole legs issuing from leonine animal masks, flanked by a pair of dragon head handles suspending loose rings, the fitted cover surmounted by a finial rendered in openwork as two lions, the larger portrayed in a dynamic stance with one paw on a beribboned ball, the smaller beast depicted clambering on its rear, the stone of a translucent variegated apple-green colour, wood stand

Condition

The incense burner and cover are in overall good condtion. There are expected minute bruises and nicks to the edges and fragile extremities, including the rims and the ribbon on the cover. There is typical light surface wear to the feet.
