This rare table with ball and ring turned front and back high stretchers and a low medial stretcher relates directly to a table that descended in the Morris family and was exhibited at the Philadelphia Museum of Art in Worldly Goods: The Arts of Early Pennsylvania, 1680-1758, (see Jack Lindsey, Worldly Goods, (Philadelphia: Philadelphia Museum of Art, 1999), p. 144, no. 49).
